Contract Maintenance Engineer - Late Shift (2pm-10pm)
Location: Suffolk
Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Contract: 3-6 months (potential to extend)
Rate: £36ph umbrella

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for your next contract role? We're seeking a skilled engineer to support a busy manufacturing facility in Suffolk on the late shift. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance on production machinery

• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults

• Working to minimize downtime and support continuous production

• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations

• Reporting and documenting work carried out using CMMS systems

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting

• Multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical), ideally with a recognised engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds)

• Confident working independently during the late shift

• Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
