Production Operative

We're looking for a production operative who has experience of working with wood to join our client on a temporary basis starting on 26.01.2026. Our client who designs and manufactures bespoke doors across the UK are based in Silsby, Leicester.

Pay: £14 p/h

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30

What You'll Be Doing:

• Carrying out door installations, repairs, and remedial works in line with manufacturer guidance and British Standards
• Upgrading existing doorsets, including ironmongery, seals, closers, and frames
• Identifying non-compliance issues and completing corrective works
• Completing accurate inspection reports, certificates, and job documentation
• Ensuring all works comply with fire safety regulations and health & safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years' experience working with wood or in a workshop.
• Exceptional eye for detail and a genuine passion for craftsmanship.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work to an exceptional standard.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Training is provided.
