Maintenance Engineer - 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights) - Food Manufacturing
Location: March, Cambridgeshire
Salary:£52,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - rotating days & nights

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing company based in the March area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team, playing a key role in maintaining and improving production machinery and site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of food production machinery
Responding to mechanical and electrical breakdowns swiftly and effectively
Ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation of all equipment
Working closely with the engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement
Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across machinery and site services
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Requirements:
Proven experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment
Strong knowledge of machinery maintenance, both electrical and mechanical
Experience with breakdowns and PPM systems
Hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (electrical or mechanical)
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights schedule
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
