Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - Packaging Environment

  • Northampton 4 on 4 off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 6am-6pm)
  • Fixed Rotating Shift Pattern with 18 Days Off
  • Salary £55,177.47

The Role as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

As part of our engineering team as a multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all site machinery and assets operate reliably and efficiently. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Executing both planned and reactive maintenance safely and to a high standard

  • Maintaining production assets in line with site requirements and performance KPIs

  • Using SAP to record all maintenance tasks (full training provided)

  • Contributing to engineering standards and continuous improvement

  • Following safe systems of work and risk assessments for all tasks

  • Working closely with both engineering and production teams

  • Booking out parts correctly to support stock management

Essential Skills & Qualities to be a successful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer:

  • Strong electrical maintenance experience with mechanical maintenance knowledge

  • Apprenticeship completed, HND, HNC, OND, ONC, City & Guilds, BTec, NVQ in Electrical or Mechanical coversion to Electrical
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • A safety-first mind set
