Are you a Planning Engineer with experience in the food or FMCG industry? We're recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our established production facility in Poole.

This is an exciting opportunity to support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure health & safety compliance, and lead the planning of engineering and maintenance activities to support business performance.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and manage maintenance schedules using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).

  • Plan, coordinate, and optimise engineering works to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations.

  • Lead and support performance improvement and reliability-based maintenance strategies.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and H&S teams to deliver planned works on time and safely.

  • Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis for unplanned downtime.

  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards, particularly within food manufacturing regulations.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven planning/engineering experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment.

  • Solid knowledge of CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP PM, Shire, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of performance management, maintenance KPIs, and asset reliability.

  • Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Strong commitment to health and safety and working to high compliance standards.
