Salary: £50,000-£60,000 Excellent Benefits

We're partnering with a global leader in the corrugated packaging industry to find a skilled Electrical & Controls Engineer. If you're passionate about automation and industrial systems, this is a great opportunity to play a key role in cutting-edge capital projects that support major manufacturing operations worldwide.


About the Role:

As part of a high-performing technical team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and delivering tailored electrical and control system solutions. You'll take projects from concept to completion - from factory build and commissioning to final installation and sign-off at customer sites.

Your work will directly support the delivery of high-value automation systems used across large-scale packaging facilities, helping to drive efficiency, innovation, and safety on a global scale.


What We're Looking For:

  • Solid hands-on mechanical fitting experience with a sound understanding of mechanical systems and principles

  • Proven experience commissioning advanced automated handling systems, especially those involving conveyor technology

  • Proficient in:

    • Allen Bradley Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk

    • Siemens S7 and TIA Portal

    • Microsoft Office and Sistema

  • Comfortable working with PCs and technical software tools

  • Strong foundation in electrical and controls system design, including power, sensors, inspection equipment, and communication interfaces

  • Deep knowledge of safety systems, control logic, and automation safety architectures

  • Experience working directly with clients on-site, managing expectations and delivering high-quality results

  • Background in designing or supporting complex product handling machinery

  • Demonstrated success in manufacturing environments
