Job: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Shifts: Monday - Friday Days (Flexible on hours)
Location: Heanor, Derbyshire
Salary: Up to £42k DOE
Pension: Employer doubles contribution up to 4%

As a Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your role will involve:
- Take responsibility for improvement activities and support site-wide projects
 - Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily planning and work prioritization.
 - Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards
 - Maintain accurate records in the maintenance system (calibrations, inspections, breakdowns, repairs, etc.)
 - Help identify and select subcontractors and suppliers, and assist with preparing requests for quotes
 - Quickly diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, find root causes, and implement preventative solutions
 - Complete all corrective maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently
 - Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
 - Promote continuous improvement through innovation and proactive problem-solving
 - Participate in a 1-in-6 weekend rota, with a 15% pay supplement
 
Ideal Candidate:
- Completed a fully indentured modern apprenticeship
 - BTEC, HNC, HND, or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering
 - Familiar with PLC systems; experience with Siemens is a plus
 - Experience with pneumatic systems, including air rams, solenoids and pressure sensors
 - Knowledge of ATEX-rated areas is an advantage
 - Strong understanding of health and safety standards
