As a Mechanical Fitter, you will have experience working within a fast-moving automated factory. Working a 12-hour rotating shift pattern where you have 2 weekends off in every 3. Offering a salary of £45-47K + bonus paid monthly

As a Mechanical Fitter, your role will involve:

• Reactive and proactive maintenance on all production plant
• Providing technical support and advice for Production Supervisors
• Effective planning and carrying out work schedules
• Route cause analysis, fault finding, and diagnostics of issues to ensure plant reliability

• Recommending and implementing machine modifications
• Setting up and adjusting machinery to meet production needs
• Daily servicing and upkeep of key mechanical assets
• Investigate product quality complaints by improving maintenance techniques
• Offering hands-on assistance on the production floor as needed
• Adherence to Health and Safety regulations and safe working practises

Ideal candidate:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Fitting / Engineering
• Ideally apprentice trained
• Experience in maintaining an automated plant is essential
• Ideally worked within a heavy manufacturing environment
• Willingness to drive continuous improvements
• Strong team player
• High standards in own workmanship

Due to the shift pattern our client is looking for Mechanical Fitters who live within a 30 minute drive to the site
