Position Overview:

Our client, a precision manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join their production team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in operating automated CNC equipment specifically designed for sharpening carbide saw blades. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting quality standards, operational efficiency, and workplace safety.

• Learn and operate up to six automated CNC machines for carbide saw blade sharpening processes
• Monitor machine operations and inspect blades throughout production to ensure adherence to blueprint specifications and quality requirements
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks, including equipment cleaning, lubrication, and cutting wheel replacement
• Manage material flow through the production area to optimize workflow efficiency
• Complete all production documentation and quality control records with accuracy
• Proactively communicate inventory needs and material shortages to supervisors and team members
• Maintain workspace organization in accordance with 6S methodology and company housekeeping standards
• Consistently follow safety protocols and comply with all company policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to understand machinery operations and manufacturing processes
• Technical Reading Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications
• Precision Measurement: Experience using measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, and related precision tools
• Learning Ability: Capacity to quickly absorb and apply complex machine setup and operation procedures
